The Den
We meet on Thursdays (term-time) between 10am - 4pm for a day in the woods.
Facilitated by a core team and supported by regular parent and youth volunteers, children aged 5-8 are welcome to join us.
The Nest
We meet on Fridays (term-time) between 10am - 4pm for a day in the woods.
Facilitated by a core team and supported by regular parent and youth volunteers, young people aged 8 - 12 are welcome to join us.
Hearth
Join us each month for a makers circle in nature at East Pollokshields Quad (age 16+)
A supportive creative space - no experience necessary - come as you are and have a play and explore with natural materials around a fire.
Sessions are supported by Gina and Sophie, both forest school-ers, crafters and makers.
Work in Schools
Work with us to create bespoke outdoor learning programmes for your school, class or group.
Our talented outdoor leaders bring a range of child-centred approaches to nature-led learning, either in school grounds or out in a local green space.

Tangles In The Trees
Join Us at the Hidden Gardens this Easter for a celebration of sensory and neurodivergent play.
Run by neurodivergent playworkers and outdoor educators who are passionate about sharing their unique playstyles and finding connection with others through sensory joy in nature.

Wild Magik Summer Apprenticeships
Coming for summer 2025 we will be offering Wild Magik Apprentices for 7-12 year olds* in the woodlands of Tir-na-Nog.
Activities include; wand whittling, herbal magik, spell casting, potion making, broom creation, flying instruction, duelling practice and graduation ceremony.
The 3 day ticket price will include group transport from Glasgow > Tir-na-Nog.
Dates: July 29th, 30th, 31st.
Cost: £150 for 3 days**
*ages are a rough guideline/not enforced strictly, depends on your child!

Our Day Together
Our day at The Den, Nest and Roost is structured by a frame which begins and ends with a 15 minute circle meeting.
At the morning meeting we check in and run through our plans for the day.
At the afternoon meeting we check out and make suggestions for next week’s session.
Time between meetings is spent in freely chosen activity and/or participating in any plans for the day that have been made at meetings.
Types of activities we can support include; den building, tool use, fire skills, campfire cooking*, imaginative play, sculpture, arts and crafts, drama, music making, team games, quiet time, storytelling, experiments, construction - wherever their curiosity leads, we will follow!
*campfires are subject to permission from the landowner (GCC) and not available every session.
